A 19-year-old man has appeared at the District Court in Limerick charged in connection with a shooting incident in the city last weekend.
Gordan Ryan, of 32 Greenfields, Rosbrien is charged with possession of a firearm, described as a makeshift shotgun for an unlawful purpose at Hyde Road in Limerick in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The charge relates to an incident in which a 21-year-old man injured after he was shot in the face.
He was remanded in custody to appear before the court again on July 2nd
