Man in court over petrol station murder

A 29 year old man has been charged with the murder of  father of two Daniel Tracey at a petrol station on the Ennis Road in Limerick.

John Coughlan from Pineview Gardens in Moyross appeared before a special sitting of Limerick District Court last night.

He was remanded in custody to appear again, via video link, next Thursday.

35 year old Daniel Tracey was gunned down as he made a bread delivery to a petrol station on the outskirts of Limerick City last Monday.

Gardaí are continuing to question another man in his 50’s over the killing.
