Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle crash in Galway, in which a 39 year old man died.
He was driving a car on the Gort to Loughrea road, when he struck a sign post at Gortaloman just before 1am.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene – which remains sealed off for a technical examination.
