A 72 year old man has died and two people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Limerick.
The man is understood to have been involved in a two car collision on the outskirts of the city on the road between Ballybrown and Clarina Cross at around 9 o'clock this morning.

The driver of a navy Ford Focus which was in a collision with a silver Skoda saloon was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man and a young child who were traveling in the Skoda have been taken to University Hospital Limerick.
Gardai say their injuries are not believed to be serious.
