A man has died and three others have been injured following a road traffic collision in North Clare.
The crash, involving a motorbike and car, occurred at around 4:45 on the R478 Coast Road between Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher.
A 35-year old man, who was the front seat passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to Limerick.
The male driver and female passenger in the car, who are both in their 30s, were injured and taken to hospital in Galway and Limerick with injuries which are described as non-life threatening.
The motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries.
Gardaí sealed off the scene to carry out a forensic examination, and have appealed for witnesses to contact Ennistymon Garda Station on 065 7072180
