A man in his 70’s is still being questioned by Gardai this morning in relation to the suspicious death of man in Cork yesterday evening.
The body of a man in his fifties was discovered at the bottom of an embankment just west of Bantry at around half five yesterday.

The suspect was arrested shortly after the discovery of the remains of the 53 year old.
It’s understood the victim may have died after becoming involved in an altercation with people who were drinking in the area.
The victim hasn’t yet been identified and a post mortem is due to be carried out later.
