Gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 40’s after the death of a woman in Cork overnight.
Authorities were called to a house in Farranree at around half past three this morning.
A woman in her 30’s was pronounced dead at the scene.

A full technical exam is taking place and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
