A man has been rescued after falling from scaffolding at the Irish Cement Factory in Limerick.
Emergency services were dispatched to the Mungret factory shortly after 10 o’clock this morning, after a man who had been working on a large silo fell from a ladder.
The Limerick Leader reports that a large rescue operation was mounted involving specially trained firefighters, due to the height of the 120 metre high silo.
