One person has been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a tractor and trailer in East Clare.
The collision happened at Killestry, near Killaloe, at around quarter past 8 this morning.
Emergency services were alerted and one man, the driver of the car, was taken to University Hospital Limerick as a precautionary measure. The driver of the tractor was unharmed.

Gardaí say weather conditions in the area were very bad at the time of the crash.
