The Mayor of Clare insists this county’s preparedness for an outdoor summer is still ‘a work in progress’.
It comes after crowded scenes and unplanned public gatherings in a number of cities and coastal areas over the weekend, including at Lahinch beach.
Clare County Council and the Clare Garda Division have a plan in place to deal with anticipated extra traffic in volumes of people here for the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.
