Clare's Labour TD is backing Alex White in his bid for the leadership of the party.
The Junior Health Minister has confirmed his bid for the role this morning and Deputy McNamara – who was part of a group of TDs who were prepared to launch a heave against Eamon Gilmore – has given him his support.
