Clare’s Labour TD admits it’s disappointing that the government has missed a summer deadline to introduce laws providing for the merger of Shannon Airport with a restructured Shannon Development.
Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore told the Dáil this morning that the laws will be enacted this year, after it was confirmed last week that it will be after the Dáil summer recess before it is dealt with.
