Its claimed that one of the country’s main developers, Lisdoonvarna native Bernard McNamara faces bankruptcy within weeks.
Newspaper reports today alleged that McNamara, once worth almost 240 million euro is facing a fresh attempt by a group of private investors to force him into bankruptcy.

The group is pursuing up to 40 properties owned by the Clare-born builder, and its claimed he’s facing the real prospect of having all his assets, including the family home seized and sold off.
Mr McNamara has already had art and other items taken from his house on Ailesbury Road in Dublin 4.
