The little Irish girl who underwent cutting edge treatment for cancer in the US is set to return home with her family in the coming weeks.

Megan Malone whose father hails from Ballyalla was diagnosed with a rare tumour last October and given just weeks to live, however after 7 months of treatment in New York, doctors say she appears to be cancer-free.
Her family have now booked their flights and are expected to return home to County Cork in September.
