Four year old Megane Malone who underwent life saving cancer treatment in the US is due to fly home today.
Last year Megan, who’s father hails from Ennis was diagnosed with a rare cancerous brain tumour last year and given a less than ten percent chance of survival.
However the four year old and her family then moved to New York for specialist treatment – which was then followed up by radiotherapy in Boston- once the tumour had disapeared.

They fly back home to Cork today and over the coming months the four year old will undergo regular scans – but her father John says doctors believe her prognosis is good
