President Michael D Higgins is to travel to London today for his first official visit since his inauguration.
During his two day visit The Newmarket on Fergus Man will visit the Olympic Park as well as meeting with a number of Irish businesses and organisations.
President Higgins will be joined by his wife Sabina for the trip.
