One of Ennis’ largest employers hopes to expand it’s business operation in Clare’s county town.
Microsemi, who produce semi conductors for the global avionics and aerospace markets, are holding their international sales meeting in Ennis this week – with senior management from the group’s US headquarters optimistic of the company’s future in Clare.

The multi national company currently employs 260 people at its facility on the Gort Road and has a turnover of 130 million US dollars annually.
CEO and President of Microsemi Jim Peterson, while not offering a firm commitment, is hopeful of future expansion in Ennis.
