Contracts for the new Critical Care unit to be based at Dooradoyle will be signed off today .
The development of the facility is all part of the integration of services at Ennis Limerick Tipperary and Nenagh Hospitals.

The reconfiguration of services has already seen the removal of 24 hour A&E at Clare’s County Hospital along with key surgical procedures.
They will now all be death with at a regional centre in Dooradoyle with local hospital and community services moving to Ennis Nenagh and Saint Johns.
