Mid-West Simon is calling for additional funding for homeless hubs to help children deal with the trauma of homelessness.
It comes as latest figures from the Department of Housing show that the number of homeless adults in Clare has almost doubled in the space of a year.
There are now 65 adults without a permanent home in this county, up from 34 this time last year, while there’s 160 children across the Mid-West region in emergency accommodation.
