The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors annual conference gets underway in Co Kerry today.
Amongst the issues that will be discussed are the concerns surrounding the current controversies facing the force and the effect they are having on frontline Gardaí.

Acting Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan will address the event tomorrow though Justice Minister Alan Shatter has turned down an invitation to address the delegates – citing a number of other commitments.
