MidWest House Prices Up By 10.5%

The cost of a home in the MidWest has jumped by 10.5% in the past year.

Figures released by the CSO today show the rise in residential property prices in Clare, Limerick and Tipperary is roughly in line with the national average of 11% in the year to February.

The figures are based on sales over the last 12 months and show the rise in Dublin was lower than the national average at 8.3 per cent – but it remains the most expensive place to buy a home.

Dublin, remains the most expensive area in the country to live in, while, border counties are the cheapest.
