Efforts to boost Clare Tourism and to promote the Cliffs of Moher get underway at the biggest Irish Festival in the United States today.
The annual Milwaukee Irish Fest has been running in Wisconsin since 1981 and showcases Irish music, history, dance, sports and culture.
This year’s Clare delegation at the event includes representatives of the Clare Tourist Council and management from the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience who are promoting the North Clare attraction as one of the New Seven wonders of the World.
Maureen Cleary of the Clare Tourism Forum believes the trip for Clare delegates is well worthwhile in terms of the potential tourists it will attract in the future.
