The Minister with responsbility for Direct Provision says Knocklisheen near Meelick is one of the better centres he has visited.
Aodhan O Riordain visited the facility yesterday on a tour of county Clare as part of his efforts to change how to the system works.

He says he can't stand over the accomodating of asylum seekers in centres like Knocklisheen for years on end while their applications are processed.
Yesterday he spoke with residents in the Clare facility and says while he feels it is being well run however he is concerned about its location.
