Clare Councillors insist the steering group set to oversee the development of an independent Shannon Airport must have local input.
The Finance Minister has all but confirmed to Clare FM that a six person task force named in recent days will be responsible for attracting in new aviation related companies into the region -once the airport’s separated from the DAA.
They include former Airport Authority members as well as a senior Irish Aviation Authority figure.
