Ratko Mladic has taunted survivors and relatives at the start of his trial by running his hand across his throat.
The defiant former Bosnian Serb military chief is on trial at The Hague, 20 years after the beginning of the Bosnian War.

The 70 year-old was also seen clapping his hands and flashing a thumbs-up as he entered the courtroom.
