Clare's car industry has showed continued signs of recovery.
Figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry shows that 148 cars were sold here last month, up from 82 in April of 2013.

This brings the total number of cars sold this year to almost 1350, over 50% higher than at the same point last year.
It comes as the motor industry nationally is showing signs of growth, economist Jim Power, who has carried out a report for the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, says its a gradual recovery.
