Visiting restrictions have been upgraded at University Hospital Limerick, following an escalation of the winter vomiting disease.
Visiting is now restricted to the entire hospital with only immediate relatives allowed

The elderly , children or vulnerable others are advised not to visit following nine confirmed cases of the vomiting bug, and 8 suspected cases affecting 4 wards.
The public are requested to co-operate fully with the advice and instruction of staff.
