The second weekend of the Mountshannon Arts Festival takes centre stage in East Clare this coming weekend.
The festival, which is rooted in the visual arts and also includes live music, exhibitions, workshops and much more besides, is celebrating 25 years since its inception.
Events this coming weekend include singer-songwriter Niamh Regan playing the marquee in Aistear Park on Friday, while the Mountshannon Trad Fest, which is also part of the weekend’s festivities, takes place on Sunday.

Cliodhna Donnellan, co-ordinator of the Mountshannon Trad Fest, is encouraging everyone to come out.
