A Clare based organisation is to receive over 236,000 euro in government funding.
Nearly 16 and half million euro will go to 70 groups nationwide under the Scheme to Support National Organisations in the Community and Voluntary Sector.

Among them is MOVE Ireland, a group which supports the safety and wellbeing of women and children who are experiencing violence and has its headquarters on the Clare Road in Ennis.
MOVE, which stands for Men Overcoming Violence, holds weekly group meetings that involve men taking responsibility for their violence and changing their attitudes and behaviour.
