Gardaí have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of the body of Adrian Folan at a disused quarry near Liscannor.
A forensic examination of the scene near the Cliffs of Moher has been completed as has a post mortem examination by the state pathologist.

A man arrested in connection with Mr Folan's disappearance from Athlone last week remains in Garda custody.
The family of Adrian Folan, has appealed for privacy.
In a statement issued through a PR company, the family says it is a difficult time and they are asking all media, including photographers not to approach the house or any member of the family.
