Gardaí have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Dublin last night.
The 20-year-old victim was sitting in a car in Moorfield Avenue, Clondalkin, at about 9pm last night when a gunman opened fire.
He was shot in his upper body and head and was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It was the second gangland attack to take place in Dublin yesterday
Earlier a 23-year-old man was shot in the shoulder in the Cabra House pub north Dublin.
