The mystery surrounding a bone found on a beach in West Clare appears to have been been solved.
A member of the public contacted Gardaí last week after finding what the believed to be a human arm on Farrihy beach in Kilkee.
But the bone was given to Clare’s County Dog Warden, Frankie Coote after forensic tests revealed they were belonging to an animal.
