Motorists have been given somewhat of a reprieve this weekend, as the N68 Ennis-Kilrush Road has re-opened as of last evening.
A portion of the road between West Clare and Ennis had been closed for re-surfacing works this past week, but commuters will be able to travel on it this weekend after it was re-oened by Clare County Council.
However, closures will again be enforced from Monday morning from 7:00 – diversions will again be in place.
