Loop Head has been named as one of the "Great Lighthouses of Ireland" in a "new experience to take your breath away".
The Great Lighthouses of Ireland is an EU funded tourism initiative which features twelve lighthouses in stunning coastal locations including County Clare's most westerly point.

The new marketing plan promotes Loop Head Lighthouse and it's stunning setting where whales, dolphins, seals and many noisy seas birds can be spotted!
It's the latest boost for Clare tourism, following on from a victotry for the Burren Food Trail in the European Destination of Excellence Awards
