The National Roads Allocation for Clare for 2019 has been almost doubled from last year’s figures.
Transport Infrastructure Ireland will provide more than €4 million towards national roads and footpaths in this county over the coming 12 months.
That’s a 95% increase on the €2 million granted to the county a year ago and is separate to the funding that will be granted for local and regional roads.
