Smokers are being urged to kick the habit this New Year for the sake of themselves and their loved ones.
The Health Service Executive is broadcasting three films today as part of their QUIT campaign, that expose the sad reality of the impact that smoking has on people’s loved ones.
The films, which will be shown on RTE a number of times today, focus on the fact that one in every two smokers will die from a tobacco related illness.
