The Clare Garda Division has been boosted with the appointment of additional Sergeants.
Ennis-based Garda Dermot Siggins, and Shannon-based Diarmaid O'Brien and Noel O'Rourke have been promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

One of their colleagues is being transferred out of the county, but two more are coming to Clare from Mayo and Galway. The appointments are to come on stream at Killaloe, Kilrush and Ennistymon.
It follows the recent appointment of a new Inspector, John Ryan and Clare’s Chief Superintendent John Kerin says he hopes it will help Gardaí locally, as well as the general public.
