A new ambulance and training centre for the Clare branch of the Irish Red Cross is opening to the public this weekend.
The charity has purchased a unit in the Tracklands Business Park in Ennis to act as a permanent ambulance base and training unit.
The €235,000 project has been several years in the planning and it was officially signed over in April of this year, with the doors opening to the public on Sunday, as they appeal for funding to pay back the mortgage ahead of schedule.
