The new Bishop of Killaloe says he's looking forward to tackling challenges presented by the role.
Fintan Monahan was ordained in front of a packed Cathedral in Ennis yesterday at a ceremony which was attended by senior church figures, laity, and public and community representatives.

Bishop Monahan takes up a position which has been vacant since Kieran O'Reilly left to become Archbishop of Cashel and Emly in early 2015.
The new bishop says his main mission is to encourage people to return to their faith.
