New car sales continue to fall in County Clare.
Figures released by the society of the Irish Motor Industry reveal just 13 new cars were purchased from Clare dealers in Octboer – that’s down 10 on the same period last year.
It represents a drop of almost 44% in Clare Car Sales – the figures in Limerick and Galway are down by over 50%, as local motor dealers hope the government will introduce a scrappage scheme or some stimulus package in the budget to kick start the motor industry once again.
