Clare homes without smoke alarms will be targeted by a new fire safety campaign.

A new Community Smoke Alarm scheme has been undertaken by Clare County Council to ensure all vulnerable households have a working alarm and are aware of potential fire hazards.
The local authority is appealing for voluntary and community groups to help identify homes without smoke alarms and to undergo training with the Fire service on the installation and maintenance of the alarms.
It’s hoped the scheme will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
