There's relief for families in Lissycasey today with the re-opening of childcare services there.
The village was one of the areas hit by the closure of 5 West Clare Early Years centres last month, leaving hundreds of parents without childcare.

Over 80 children are enrolled at Lissycasey Laugh and Learn, which will be based in the same building as the previous creche, while recruitment of staff is also underway in Kilrush and Kilkee and it's hoped services will resume there later this month.
Director of the new Lissycasey creche, Deborah Coughlan says that today's re-opening is the culmination of a lot of hard work.
