A new date is expected to set next month for the trial of a North Clare man charged with the murder of Ballyvaughan woman Deirdre McCarty.
40 year Colm Deely of School Road, Ballyvaughan is charged with murdering the 43 year old guest house worker at a place unknown in Co Clare on or about March 28, 2011.

His trial before the Central Criminal Court which is sitting in Galway was due to get underway last week but the matter was adjourned.
Today the case was adjourned further and is up for mention before the Central Criminal Court in Dublin on the 25th of February where a new trial date will be set.
