The new Mayor of Ennis expects Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann to be one of the highlights of her time in the role.
Independent Councillor Ann Norton was elected into the role by her fellow local representatives last evening.

The Barefield-based charity campaigner will hold the office during the upcoming traditional music festival this August which is expected to attract up to 400,000 people to the town.
