The New Mayor of Clare is calling on Ryanair Boss Michael O’ Leary to come down to Shannon Airport to make a new deal on restoring more flights from the Mid West.
Fianna Fail’s Pat Daly took over the mayoral chains from his party colleague Pat Hayes during the County Council’s AGM yesterday after being nominated by clrs PJ Kelly and Pat McMahon.

Outlining his hopes for the forthcoming term in office Mayor Daly would like to see a new marketing strategy for Shanon Airport – particularly ahead of The Gathering Tourism Initiative next year.
He also belives that Ryanair’s Michael o Leary should consider restoring routes here
