The new Mayor of Ennis has vowed to work with businesses in the town during her time in the role.
Independent Councillor Ann Norton was elected into the role by her fellow local representatives last evening.

The Barefield-based charity campaigner will hold the office during the upcoming Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, and says she expects this to be a highlight of her time in the role.
She's aslo hoping to work with businesspeople in a bid to bolster the town long-term.
