Two new Councillors will be formerly co-opted on to Clare County Council today.
Shannon Town Councillor and Taxi Driver Sean McLaughlin is taking up the seat vacated by newly elected Senator Tony Mulcahy, while Bill Slattery of Lahinch is to fill the vacancy in the Ennistymon electoral area created by the election of Martin Conway to the Seanad.

Both representatives are expected to be formally welcomed to Aras Contae an Chlair for the June Monthly meeting of Clare County Council this afternoon.
