The new CEO of Shannon Airport has described his role there as ‘a big challenge and a big opportunity’.
Neil Pakey was at Shannon Airport this morning for the launch of US Airways’ service between Shannon and Philadelphia, which has resumed today for the first time in four years.

The Scottish national formally takes up the position next month, having previously spent nine years as managing director of Liverpool Airport when annual passenger numbers grew from under 1 million to 5.5 million.
This was mainly achieved through low-cost airlines, but today Mr. Pakey hinted that this forms only part of his plans for Shannon
