Cabinet is also expected to ratify a new Chairperson of Shannon Group at their weekly meeting later today.
The role has been vacant since the departure of Rose Hynes, who had held the role for six years prior to her departure last August.
Shannon Group oversees the Airport and Shannon Heritage, both of which have suffered significantly during the pandemic, as well as Shannon Commercial Properties.
