It’s hoped that a new funding boost for the Burren Way will attract more tourists to West Clare.
Over 180 thousand euro is to be spent on extending the trail from Doolin to Haggs Head, an 8km section.
The Burren Way trail already extends for over 120km and takes in parts of Lahinch, Doolin, Lisdoonvarna, Ballyvaughan, Carran and Corrofin.
